Everybody knows the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan, the landing on Omaha Beach, on D-Day, 6 June 1944 which was nothing short of a slaughter.

The action in the scene is indeed very close to actual historical events, Spielberg meant to honor those who fought, and not make it look romantic.

He wanted to show the real suffering and intense emotion of the soldiers.

Attention was paid to every little detail of costume and scenery and military equipment, but with all the attention to detail, mistakes are being made and we made a list of 10 of them.
